Bwala, who has previously expressed opposition to President Tinubu, has surprisingly met with him twice in the past month, once at the villa and once in France.

In a statement on his Twitter handle, Bwala said, “Fellow countrymen, keep faith with your country; Nigeria is a unique nation of resilient people. President Tinubu will do whatever he can to address the myriad challenges confronting the Nigerian people. Your frustration and anger are deeply regretted, but I assure you that the labor of our heroes past shall never be in vain. The hydra-headed security challenges are testing our resolve, but if we stay hopeful and resilient amidst these trying times, we would rise up undaunted as a nation.”
