Both players have been sidelined due to injuries but are now available for selection in the second leg of their UEFA Champions League round-of-16 tie.

Mbappé, 27, has not played for Madrid since the La Liga match against CA Osasuna on February 21 after sustaining a knee sprain earlier in March. His return provides Madrid with an additional attacking option as they aim to secure progression in Manchester.

Bellingham has been out for a longer period. The 22-year-old midfielder left the pitch early in a league game against Rayo Vallecano on February 1 after suffering a hamstring injury, an incident that initially raised concerns about his availability for England’s upcoming international fixtures against Uruguay national football team and Japan national football team.

Madrid travel to Manchester with a strong advantage, following a convincing 3-0 victory in the first leg at the Santiago Bernabéu Stadium.

On that night, midfielder Federico Valverde delivered an impressive performance, helping the Spanish side establish a comfortable lead in the tie. The margin could have been wider, but Gianluigi Donnarumma, the City goalkeeper, made a crucial save early in the second half to deny Vinícius Júnior from the penalty spot.

With Mbappé and Bellingham back in the squad, Real Madrid head to the Etihad Stadium with renewed confidence and a solid aggregate advantage, while Manchester City will need a remarkable performance to overturn the deficit.
