Ifoh remarked, “It is regrettable that the APC, which initially gained from a largely free and fair election in 2015, has progressively eroded the integrity of subsequent elections since assuming power.

“We are well aware of their tactics, including the utilization of some of our expelled members to foment chaos, hinder our ongoing legal case, dismantle our party, and integrate our structures into the APC.

“We are delighted to report that Nigerians have seen through these stratagems and are now more resolute than ever to uphold the ideals of a new Nigeria, as advocated by the Labour Party and our Presidential candidate, Peter Obi.

“Nigerians are grappling with unprecedented hardships. We have a ruling party that has clearly demonstrated its inability to address the multitude of challenges facing Nigeria—a party that has brought nothing but suffering and hardship to the majority of Nigerians, all while holding onto a contested mandate.

“We maintain our optimism that the Supreme Court will carefully consider the merits of our case and deliver a verdict in favor of justice and the future of our nation and its democratic system.”
