The Labour Party, represented by National Publicity Secretary Abayomi Arabambi on behalf of National Chairman Alhaji Lamidi Apapa, issued a statement urging all Nigerians to stay united and offer prayers for the country’s peaceful existence.

In line with the spirit of sacrifice exemplified by Prophet Mohammed (PBUH), the party called upon Muslims to emulate his ideals and embrace the message of Sallah, which emphasizes sacrifice and commitment. They emphasized that progress and prosperity require sacrifice. CONTINUE READING

While the party acknowledged the sacrifices made by Nigerians, particularly the masses, they urged the government to promptly implement palliative measures to alleviate the impact of fuel subsidy removal, as citizens cannot wait indefinitely.

The Labour Party also encouraged Nigerians to renew their commitment to a united Nigeria and remain focused on their hopes for a greater country under the leadership of President Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu (GCFR).

Irrespective of political affiliation, the party called upon all political leaders to pray for and support the unity and diversity of Nigeria under President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s administration, as there is no alternative to Nigeria.

The party highlighted that Eid-el-Kabir symbolizes love, peace, and sacrifice, extending beyond the festive season. They emphasized the need for tolerance, synergy, and cooperation among citizens to overcome the current challenges faced by the nation.

The Labour Party also called on Nigerians to embrace peaceful coexistence, genuine brotherhood, and seek forgiveness from Allah to heal the country from its various ailments.

With the determination of well-meaning citizens, the party expressed confidence that Nigeria will regain its path to recovery and greatness.

The Labour Party extended their congratulations to Muslim brothers across the country on the occasion of the 2023 Eid-el-Kabir.
