Labour Party Suspends Hilda Dokubo Over Charges Of Financial Misconduct

Hilda Dokubo, the Labour Party Chairman in Rivers State, has been suspended from her party membership in Asari Toru Local Government Area. The decision was communicated through a letter addressed to the Labour Party Chairman of Asari Toru LGA and signed by Mr. Ajalamonia Ibama (Ward Chairman), Mr. Lole Amacheer (Secretary), Mr. Emmanuel Ibamathe (Treasurer), Mrs. Osaki Dieypiriye (Women leader), and Osaki Dokubo (Publicity Secretary)…….. According to NAN, the 54-year-old actress was suspended on Thursday following an emergency meeting of the party’s ward executive committee held on July 15. The suspension was based on allegations including financial misconduct, abuse of office, and violation of party regulations, among others.

The ward executives stated that their decision came after a thorough investigation into these allegations, revealing substantial evidence. As of now, Dokubo has not responded to the accusations.
