In response to the landmark judgment by Justice Emmanuel Agim and a seven-man panel, Speaker Mudashiru Obasa underscored the Assembly’s intent to comprehend the ruling’s constitutional ramifications fully. The Assembly’s decision, reached via a voice vote during plenary, aims to prevent inadvertent breaches of the judgment.

Additionally, the Assembly expressed commendation for the recent successful police operation in the state, which resulted in the elimination of nine kidnappers in Ladipo.
