Lagos State Government Clears Way For Cubana Chief Priest’s Restaurant To Reopen

The Lagos State Environmental Protection Agency (LASEPA) has lifted the closure of Donald’s Fast Food (De-Angels Night Club), a restaurant in Lekki owned by nightlife entrepreneur Cubana Chief Priest. On Tuesday, Tokunbo Wahab, Commissioner for the Ministry of the Environment and Water Resources, announced that the restaurant’s owner has agreed to comply with state environmental regulations. Wahab stated, “Following the closure of Donald’s Fast Food (De-Angels Night Club) under the Lagos State Environmental Management and Protection Law 2017, Part VI Section 177, the business owner has signed an agreement to adhere to environmental laws. The restaurant will now operate strictly as a fast food venue, avoiding any use of the facility for clubbing or parties, as it is located in a residential area where such activities are prohibited.”

The statement concluded, “The Lagos State government remains committed to ensuring a safe environment for all residents.”
