Tinubu acknowledged the challenges his administration faces and emphasized the need for a clear decision and action plan to overcome these issues.

He underlined his readiness to address challenges and liabilities inherited from his predecessor.

The President stressed that there would be no room for excuses, highlighting the importance of assembling a team of competent individuals who can fulfill the citizens’ aspirations.

He disclosed that Bala Hadiza, the Special Adviser on Policy Coordination, would lead the Result and Delivery Unit to monitor the key performance indicators of all ministerial appointees.

Tinubu concluded by revealing that all ministers would be required to sign a bond of understanding at the retreat.

This bond will help track and evaluate their performance, with those failing to meet expectations facing potential replacement, as the ultimate responsibility lies with him.

Key priorities for the administration include food security, poverty alleviation, economic growth, job creation, access to capital, inclusivity, security, fairness, the rule of law, and anti-corruption.
