Represented by her Special Assistant on Social Development, Helen Zamani, the minister emphasized that filmmaking has evolved beyond entertainment, now serving as a reflection of shared experiences, struggles, and dreams. āThe Zuma Film Festival is not just an event; it is a movementāa platform that brings together voices, ideas, and visions that shape the narrative of who we are and where we are headed,ā Mahmoud remarked.
The minister further noted that technology, particularly tools like virtual reality and artificial intelligence, is rapidly changing how audiences engage with films. She urged filmmakers to embrace these innovations while staying true to the authenticity that makes their stories unique. āIn an era of rapid technological advancement, we must adapt to these tools, which are transforming storytelling and audience interaction,ā she said.
