According to DSP Lawan Shiisu Adam, spokesperson for the command, the arrest occurred on Wednesday, July 10, 2024. Ibrahim was arrested alongside two accomplices, Hassan Shehu and Salman Ibrahim.

The statement released by the PPRO indicated that Ibrahim, discharged from Kazaure Correctional Facility on June 22, allegedly raided the residence of Shehu Umar on June 25 with an accomplice. They reportedly stole a laptop valued at N750,000 and a phone valued at N130,000.00.

“On 25/06/2024 around 2030hrs, actionable intelligence led detectives from Kazaure Division to Katoge quarters, Kazaure LGA, where they re-arrested Mohd Ibrahim, aged 22, Hassan Shehu, aged 25, both residents of Yammakada quarters, Kazaure LGA, and Salman Ibrahim, aged 28, of Kanti quarters, Kazaure LGA (receiver),” the statement read.

“Despite being released on 22/06/2024 for charges of house trespass and theft, Ibrahim and another individual allegedly raided Shehu Umar’s residence on 24/06/2024 at approximately 2330hrs, taking a Lenovo laptop worth N750,000, a Techno Spark 10 worth N130,000, and an Itel Keypad whose value remains undetermined.”
