In a video circulating on social media, Agbaje, speaking in Yoruba, admitted to violently assaulting the children until they died. He then mutilated their bodies, specifically targeting their genitals. Agbaje claimed his motive was jealousy over his brother’s greater financial success. He denied any intention to use the children for ritual purposes and stated that the children’s parents had not wronged him.
Both Agbaje and his brother work as Okada riders in Abeokuta.
