Man Trades Multi-Million Naira Business And Academic Success For Catholic Priesthood In Touching Video

Rev. Fr. Chris Orajiaka, a newly ordained Nigerian Catholic priest who gave up two university degrees and a multi-million naira business to pursue his calling, celebrated his first Mass last Sunday in Lagos.

The service took place at the Catholic Church of Divine Mercy in Lekki, where he observed the cherished tradition of presenting the maniturgium—a sacred linen cloth used to wipe the chrism oil during ordination—to his mother.

Fr. Orajiaka was officially ordained into the priesthood on June 28, 2025, under the Diocese of Tyler, Texas, United States.
