Marriage Crash Drama: Femi Adebayo’s Ex-Wife Finally Speaks On Toyin Abraham Rumours
Omotayo Sanusi, popularly known as Iyan Aladuke and the estranged wife of Nollywood actor and filmmaker Femi Adebayo, has dismissed claims that actress Toyin Abraham played any role in the collapse of her marriage.
In a statement shared on her Instagram page on Wednesday, Sanusi described the long-standing allegation as false, insisting that Abraham was never responsible for the challenges that ended her relationship with the actor.
She explained that although she had ignored several rumours surrounding her marriage over the years, she decided to speak out because the claims were repeatedly being presented as facts.
According to Sanusi, reports alleging that Toyin Abraham informed her that another actress was romantically involved with Adebayo during a movie production are completely untrue.
She also denied ever confronting, attacking or harassing anyone on any movie set, maintaining that no such incident ever occurred.
Sanusi revealed that she was actively involved throughout the production referenced in the rumours, explaining that she and her team handled catering and welfare services for more than 500 cast and crew members for over a month in support of the project.
She questioned how an alleged confrontation could have taken place on such a large production without any eyewitness or credible evidence.
The entrepreneur challenged anyone who claimed to have been assaulted or harassed by her during the production to publicly come forward with their account.
She urged the public to stop spreading what she described as false narratives, stressing that there was no factual basis for the allegations.
Sanusi said her previous silence was a deliberate choice to avoid public conflict and should not be interpreted as an admission that the claims were true.
According to her, she chose peace over public disputes but felt compelled to issue an official clarification in the hope of ending the circulation of the allegations.
In a separate Instagram post, she criticised those who promoted what she described as false stories about her while condemning her decision to respond.
She argued that if people were willing to believe accusations against her, they should also be prepared to listen to her side of the story, insisting that “silence should never be mistaken for guilt.”
Responding to a follower who urged her to address previous allegations involving actress Funke Akindele, Sanusi denied ever making the remarks attributed to her.
She challenged those making the claims to produce evidence, insisting that allegations should not be treated as established facts without proof.
