Marriage Drama? Rosy Meurer Reacts To Allegations, Sparks Buzz After Unfollowing Churchill

She addressed the claims in a series of videos posted on Instagram after social media users resurfaced accusations that she was once close to Tonto before later becoming involved with her ex-husband.

Rosy firmly denied ever having a friendship or personal relationship with Tonto. According to her, they have never met, never exchanged contact details, and have no form of connection.

She dismissed suggestions that Tonto introduced her to Churchill and that she later became romantically involved with him, describing the narrative as false. Rosy stated that she met her husband independently and had no involvement in his previous marriage.

“There was never any friendship between us,” she said, adding, “I was never my husband’s ex’s friend, let alone her best friend. We’ve never met or spoken. She doesn’t have my number, and I don’t have hers.”

She explained that claims portraying her as someone who betrayed a friend are unfounded, insisting she met Churchill separately from his past life.

Her response came amid online speculation after reports emerged that she had unfollowed her husband on Instagram. The development coincided with Churchill celebrating the 10th birthday of his son, King Andre, whom he shares with Tonto. Photos from the celebration showed Churchill and Tonto together with their son, drawing renewed public attention due to their past marital issues.

Reacting to the speculation, Rosy maintained that her marriage is stable and that she is well treated. She said she encouraged her husband to travel to Lagos to celebrate his son’s birthday since he had not seen him for some time, adding that she was glad the children had the opportunity to spend time with their father.

At the time she posted the videos, Rosy was in Cancun, Mexico, celebrating her birthday.

Churchill and Tonto married in 2015 but separated in 2017 following a highly publicized dispute. Tonto had accused him of domestic violence and other misconduct, allegations he denied. In 2022, Churchill issued her a cease-and-desist letter over statements he claimed were harmful to his reputation and that of his wife.

Following his split from Tonto, Churchill married Rosy Meurer, and the couple welcomed a son in 2021.
