Mass Suspension In Ebonyi! 87 Officials Suspended For Skipping Key Government Function – Full List Revealed

Governor Francis Nwifuru of Ebonyi State has suspended 87 top government officials for one month without pay after they failed to attend an important official engagement.....KINDLY READ THE FULL STORY HERE▶

The announcement was made in a statement released Monday night by the governor’s spokesperson, Monday Uzor. The suspension affects a wide range of officials, including 25 commissioners, 14 senior special assistants, 24 special assistants, and 22 permanent secretaries.

According to Uzor, the officials are barred from signing any government documents during the suspension. Commissioners have also been directed to hand over their responsibilities to their respective permanent secretaries.

“The Governor of Ebonyi State, Rt. Hon. Francis Ogbonna Nwifuru, has directed that the underlisted government functionaries proceed on a one-month working suspension without salary due to their absence at a critical government function,” Uzor stated.

He emphasized the governor’s commitment to upholding discipline, dedication, and high standards among public officials in the state.
