Massive Changes In Katsina! Govt Unveils Fresh Appointments Across Key Ministries [Full List Inside]
Governor Dikko Umar Radda of Katsina State has approved the appointment of several key officials to head major agencies and commissions across the state.....KINDLY READ THE FULL STORY HERE▶
The announcement was made on Friday in a statement issued by the Chief Press Secretary to the Governor, Ibrahim Mohamed.
According to the statement, Abba Junaidu has been appointed as the Chairman of the Katsina State Road Maintenance Agency. Junaidu brings a wealth of experience from his previous roles as Chief Building Officer, Assistant Project Manager at the Ministry of Education, Principal Civil Engineer, and Chief Resident Engineer at the Ministry of Works.
The statement added that Dr. Babangida Ruma has been appointed Director General of the Katsina State Enterprise Development Agency. Dr. Ruma, who previously served as Technical Assistant to the Governor on Enterprise Development, is a celebrated technologist, serial entrepreneur, and youth development advocate. He was recognized by the UNESCO Institute for Information Technologies in Education as the “Father of Technology and Innovation” for his pioneering contributions to tech-driven development.
Similarly, Idris Usman Tune has been appointed Chairman of the Civil Service Commission. Tune, who holds degrees in Political Science, Public Communication, and Public Administration, served as the state’s Head of Service until May 2023 and has held several positions across state government agencies.
Governor Radda also approved the constitution of the Katsina State Pension Bureau, with the following appointments:

Musa Rabiu Mahuta – Executive Director, Finance and Administration

Abbati Ibrahim Masanawa – Executive Director, Operations

Usman Shehu – Executive Director, ICT and Database Management

Dr. Faruk Aminu – Independent Observer
The board will also include representatives from Ministries, Departments, Agencies (MDAs), and relevant unions as stipulated in the Katsina State Pension Reform Law 2025.
For the Katsina State and Local Government Pension Transition Board, Hon. Muntari Dan Ammani has been named Executive Secretary, while Garba Sanda Mani will serve as Part-Time Chairman, with Dr. Faruk Aminu as Independent Observer, alongside other representatives of MDAs and unions.
Governor Radda urged all appointees to uphold professionalism and commitment to public service, emphasizing the importance of effective service delivery in line with his administration’s “Building Your Future” development agenda.
