Mega Projects, Mega Impact! Abubakar Momoh & NDDC Redefine Development as Minister Commissions Roads in Rivers (Video) ....KINDLY READ THE FULL STORY HERE▶

The Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC) has moved beyond its traditional role of building schools to executing mega projects that redefine the landscape of entire regions. With an ambitious drive, the Commission has embarked on an era of infrastructural transformation that is impacting lives across the Niger Delta.

Barely a week ago, the Honorable Minister of Regional Development, Engr. Abubakar Momoh, FNSE, commissioned the reconstructed Abraka-Oben Road Phase 1 while simultaneously flagging off the rehabilitation of failed portions of the Abraka-Agbor Road. This critical intervention, carried out by the NDDC, has already brought relief to thousands of road users and communities along these routes.

In yet another significant milestone, the Minister has now commissioned the reconstruction of the Oyigbo Road Network—a major artery linking  Obunku, Umuosi, Obeakpu, Mgboji, and Ndoki  in Rivers State. Additionally, the rehabilitation of the Mgboji-Umuagbai-Akwete Road has been flagged off, signifying the NDDC’s commitment to enhancing mobility and regional connectivity.

During the flag-off, Minister Abubakar Momoh  took a symbolic approach—personally operating heavy machinery to mark the beginning of the project. This gesture not only signified  commitment to infrastructure development  but also inspired confidence in the people, reinforcing the government’s determination to deliver on its promises.

The NDDC’s success in executing these projects so efficiently is largely due to the peaceful collaboration between its Board and Management , a rare but powerful alignment that ensures seamless execution. With Minister Abubakar Momoh providing top-tier supervision, the synergy between the leadership team has resulted in unprecedented progress.

The NDDC’s transformative strides align perfectly with President Bola Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda, which prioritizes infrastructure development and economic revitalization.

A key factor accelerating progress is collaboration. Under the supervision of the Minister of Regional Development, the NDDC is implementing projects with precision, transparency, and a clear development vision. The leadership of Managing Director Sam Ogbuku and Chairman Chiedu Ibie has been instrumental in driving progress, with both men demonstrating an insatiable thirst for sustainable development.

As communities rejoice over newly constructed roads, the message is clear—the NDDC is no longer just an interventionist agency; it is a catalyst for real transformation. With a focused vision and a leadership team committed to excellence, the Niger Delta is indeed experiencing a new dawn of development!
