There was no train movement from either Idu (Abuja) or Rigasa (Kaduna) stations.Comrade Yusuf Kazeem, the chairman of the Abuja Union of Abuja-Kaduna Train Services (AKTS), confirmed the suspension of services, stating that no trains operated in or out of Abuja on that day.

Passengers were duly informed in advance about the halt in services, and tickets were not sold as well.Kazeem assured that passengers were not left stranded, as they were notified in advance about the suspension of services. He emphasized that the online ticket portal was not accessible, indicating the unavailability of train services. Furthermore, he mentioned that AKTS workers also refrained from work in solidarity with the strike.The complete compliance with the strike resulted in no train movement and ensured that passengers were not inconvenienced.
