The Minister of Regional Development, Hon. Engr. Abubakar Momoh, FNSE, has extended a warm welcome to the Governor of Enugu State, Dr. Peter Ndubuisi Mbah, following his official defection to the All Progressives Congress (APC).

In a goodwill message issued on Tuesday, the Minister described Governor Mbah’s decision as “a courageous and progressive step that reflects his commitment to national unity, partnership, and sustainable development.”

Engr. Momoh noted that the defection underscores the growing confidence in President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda, which continues to attract forward-looking leaders across party lines.

> “Governor Peter Mbah’s alignment with the APC at this crucial time in our democratic evolution demonstrates his vision for a more prosperous and integrated Nigeria. Engr. Momoh, who oversees the coordination of Nigeria’s Regional Development Commissions, emphasized that the addition of Governor Mbah to the APC fold strengthens the party’s reformist drive and deepens the national cohesion necessary for accelerated progress.
