Asaba, Delta State – As part of its strategic mandate to promote inclusive socio-economic development across Nigeria’s regions, the Federal Ministry of Regional Development, under the leadership of the Honourable Minister, Engr. Abubakar Momoh, FNSE, has successfully implemented an empowerment program aimed at equipping youths and women in Delta State with practical, income-generating skills.
The initiative, conducted in partnership with Nobel and Lesley Consulting Ltd, focused on capacity building in poultry farming and agribusiness, empowering participants to become self-reliant and contribute to local enterprise development. The program, which took place at Enotel Street, Ezenei, Asaba, attracted notable community leaders, development partners, and enthusiastic beneficiaries, all of whom commended the Ministry’s grassroots engagement strategy.
This intervention is a clear demonstration of the Ministry’s commitment to regional empowerment, with a focus on economic diversification, job creation, and poverty reduction.
