The governor, who was honored with the Ambrose Alli University Alumni Association Hero’s Award and the Award of Excellence, recalled how his critics falsely claimed he did not attend school.
“I am proud to be a graduate of Ambrose Alli University, and I am the first governor from that institution. During the political season, there were baseless accusations that I didn’t go to school. But I completed a full-time program at AAU, earning a Second Class Upper (2:1) in my BSc. I also pursued my MSc full-time at Delta State University, Abraka,” Oborevwori affirmed.
He further noted that despite the blackmail and legal battles, his coursemates and the university stood firmly by him, emphasizing his unwavering belief in Nigeria and Delta State.
