Finance Commissioner Akintunde Oyebode announced on Friday that each beneficiary will receive between N250,000 and N2.5 million, depending on their salary grade. Oyebode also revealed that the governor has authorized an additional N200 million to expand the scheme’s funding, allowing for more participants.

“The governor has approved an increase in the individual loan amount by 100 percent for eligible civil servants,” Oyebode said. To qualify, workers must have at least five years of service remaining and demonstrate that they will retain at least 50 percent of their monthly gross pay after loan deductions.
