Nasarawa State Receives Federal Palliatives To Alleviate Subsidy Removal Impact

The Nasarawa State government has announced the successful receipt of its allocated portion of the long-anticipated federal government palliative designed to alleviate the effects of subsidy removal on the general populace.

During the visit, Governor Sule highlighted that both the state and federal governments were well aware of the eager anticipation among the citizens to access the palliatives, which President Bola Tinubu had pledged to provide in order to alleviate the repercussions of fuel subsidy elimination.

The governor emphasized that these palliatives would be implemented as soon as the nominees for commissioner positions are inaugurated in the upcoming week.

He extended his appreciation to the federal government for its intervention, while expressing a commitment to the equitable distribution of the assistance to ensure its positive impact on the population.

Governor Sule also lauded the Speaker and fellow legislators for their swift confirmation of the commissioner nominees. He reassured them of the continuation of their productive collaborative efforts.
