Natasha Snubs Senate Probe! Senator Imasuen Expresses Disappointment Over No-Show

Senate Ethics Committee Chairman, Senator Neda Imasuen, on Wednesday, voiced disappointment over the absence of Kogi Central Senator, Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan, at a scheduled hearing regarding her conduct during last week’s plenary session.

Reports indicate that Akpoti-Uduaghan previously clashed with Senate President Godswill Akpabio over seat allocation, accusing him of public humiliation and blocking her motions and bills. Her resistance to the new seating arrangement resulted in Akpabio denying her the chance to speak during the session, prompting the Senate to refer the matter to its Ethics Committee.

During the committee meeting, Senator Imasuen remarked, “Senator Natasha was duly invited to this meeting. We hope she will join us as we continue.”
