Nigerians nonetheless came out in numbers and cast their votes for their favourite candidates in all 36 of the federation’s states as well as the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) despite the agonizing economy that the phoney Naira Redesign policy inflicted upon the populace.
This indicates that any politician who received votes in the most recent election should be prepared to give everything they have in order to carry out the responsibilities of their office because Nigerians made enormous sacrifices in order for them to enjoy the privileges of today’s VIP citizens.
Anyway, Nigerians from all six geopolitical zones of the federation—not just those in Edo North—have voiced their high hopes for Oshiomhole’s participation in the 10th NASS and described him as a national asset to each and every Nigerian in the fight for equity, fairness, and justice.
A trader at DeiDei market in Abuja had this to say about Oshiomhole’s anticipated stewardship at the Senate ; “My name na Sultan and I don dey trade for here for twenty years na people like Oshiomhole wey dey stand for people like us suppose be Senate President, habamana d man na National Asset to our country”
“Oshiomhole is a man of grace, a man of great wisdom and capacity; such people are needed to steer our nation’s leadership; his membership in the 10th National Assembly is a good omen, and we all support him.” Nkechi from Mogadishu cantonment.

Meanwhile, the people of Edo North as a whole are tremendously happy that their son, who has made them very proud, has the chance to once again honour his heritage by serving Nigerians with pride.
Therefore, as the saying goes, “to whom much is given, much must be expected,” and it is incumbent upon the former APC national chairman and former governor of Edo State to once again demonstrate his leadership qualities by going to the NASS and doing the necessary.
