NECO Announces September 24 As Release Date For 2026 SSCE Results

The National Examinations Council (NECO) has announced Thursday, September 24, 2026, as the official date for the release of results of the 2026 Senior School Certificate Examination (SSCE) Internal.

According to Bush Radio Academy, the examination body disclosed the development in a circular, stating that the results would be formally announced at 11am at its headquarters located along Kilometre 8, Bida Road, Minna, Niger State.

The announcement followed a meeting of the 2026 SSCE Internal Award Committee held at the council’s headquarters on Tuesday. The meeting was chaired by the NECO Registrar and Chief Executive, Professor Dantani Wushishi, as officials finalised arrangements for the release of the examination results.

NECO also confirmed the development through its official social media platform, noting that the committee meeting represented the final stage of preparations ahead of the scheduled announcement.

The 2026 SSCE Internal examination was conducted for final-year secondary school students across the country between June 15 and July 23, 2026.

The forthcoming release is expected to give candidates access to their examination performance as they prepare for the next stage of their academic journey. Parents, schools and other stakeholders are also expected to access the results through the channels that will be provided by NECO.

The council is expected to formally unveil the results during the scheduled event at its Minna headquarters on Thursday, bringing an end to the waiting period for candidates who participated in this year’s examination.
