“Nigeria is a place I’ve always loved. Someone very dear to me—my pastor—is Nigerian, and I have many Nigerian friends,” Minaj said.
“Knowing that people are being kidnapped in churches, being killed and brutalized simply for their faith should spark outrage. We will no longer back down or be silenced by bullies. We will speak up for Christians everywhere.”

Minaj also highlighted the importance of religious freedom worldwide, stressing that many people take the right to worship for granted.
