The initiative was well-received by the participants, who expressed their enthusiasm and gratitude for the opportunities it presented. John Okon, a local farmer, highlighted the program’s impact, saying, “This training has opened my eyes to the vast possibilities within the agricultural sector. I now understand how to add value to my produce and create products that can generate more income.” This sentiment was echoed by many who saw the potential for increased income and business expansion.

Ekaette Essien, a small business owner, emphasized the commercial benefits of the training. “Learning to make detergents and soaps on a commercial scale means I can expand my business and create more job opportunities in my community. This is truly empowering,” she noted. Her perspective underscores the program’s role in fostering local economic growth and employment.

For recent graduates like Bassey Udo, the training offered a lifeline in a challenging job market. “I’ve been struggling to find a job, but with the skills I’ve gained here, I can start my own business. This training has given me hope and a clear path forward,” he shared. The program’s focus on entrepreneurship provides a crucial pathway for young people seeking to build sustainable livelihoods.
