A mandate is a decision that grants an entity or individual power to carry out its tasks. On February 25th, 2023, Nigerians turned out to vote on who would be their new commander in Chief of the Armed Forces for the next four years.

It would be an understatement to say that the battle was not fierce because it was fought along racial, ethnic, and religious lines and involved everything from propaganda to the fabrication of stories to the indoctrination of followers.,,,CONTINUE READING.

I believe that Grace and destiny were at work in the win because the opposition, which appears to be united in defeat, has forgotten that this is what they would have done before the elections.

For instance Tinubu earned 37 % with Atiku scoring 29% , Peter Obi 25% and Kwankwaso going for 9% , now the intriguing component of the whole narrative is that both Atiku and Peter Obi are claiming victory and the same time arguing the votes allocated to them was not manipulated.

Anyway, Tinubu supporters bore the brunt of the hatred and acrimony as a result of a heavy smear campaign of propaganda and distortion of facts from both the LP and PDP, which according to the electoral results had a combined 54% of the electorates if we use the election results as a basis for comparison.

What they failed to do by coming together as one front to win the APC before the elections they have decided to now come together in unity as losers to undermine the electoral process.

Both the LP and PDP had planned attempts to seize the streets following the elections in protest of what they both claimed to be a stolen mandate.

For two weeks, these protesters effectively seized the Unity Fountain while demanding the establishment of an interim national government.

Whether they were indoctrinated or not, the Obidients chose to be depressed about their defeat and vowed to undermine the process in the eyes of the world by releasing false information to the international community.

Today, however, things are different; supporters of the Tinubu/Shettima presidential campaign, led by the Tinubu Support Group, TSG, have taken over the Unity Fountain to celebrate a well-deserved victory.

Today, April 12, 2023, marks the 17th day of their pre-inauguration hangout at the Unity Fountain. No day goes by without celebrations upon celebrations, from cultural dances to dramas, entertainment, musical displays, and much more, the Unity Fountain has been an object of JOYFUL CELEBRATIONS.

Every day, the Muslim faithful, Christians, and even traditional worshippers congregate at the Unity Fountain to celebrate renewed hope. Day after day, the Muslim brothers observe Iftar Prayer/breaking of fast.

It was more than just a funfair for the Christian and Muslim communities as they celebrated Easter together.

Tosin Adeyanju, a key figure who has played a significant role in the magnificent organization of defending the people’s mandate, says it is nothing more than thanking God for bringing Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu at this vital moment when the country requires his outstanding services.

Nigerians are happy people, and they have shown that the country will once again be great. Today, hundreds of Nigerians have expressed gratitude for their determination to celebrate a newfound hope of a rejuvenated and thriving nation rather than sadness over a perceived failing nation.

We will leave you with so many photographs from the pre-inauguration hangout to fill your eyes, remember if you are in Abuja and want to celebrate with happy people, the Unity Fountain is the place to go, there has never been a dull moment at the Unity Fountain.
