Nigerian Activist Adetoun Reveals Shocking Past: My Husband Had 87 Girlfriends Before I Met Him

Onajobi described one of the 87 women as “a pure mermaid” who frequently appeared to her husband. In an effort to curb her husband’s promiscuous behavior and salvage their marriage, she engaged in both physical and spiritual battles.
“My husband had 87 girlfriends that he was sleeping with,” she disclosed. “Baba Ashabi would tell me that… Let me even shock you; he would tell me that he is looking for a job for them. I said, ‘You who has no job, where is your recruitment center? Where are you looking for a job for them? You have left Lagos, and you are the one looking for a job for them. Baba Ashabi!”
Despite the challenges, Onajobi expressed her belief in the possibility of change and transformation. She asserted that people who claim men cannot change have not experienced her husband’s journey. She tackled the issues one step at a time, both physically and spiritually.
On the spiritual front, she narrated an incident involving a woman who she described as a pure mermaid. This woman even communicated with her husband, complicating their relationship further. On one occasion, when they were supposed to travel together, her husband pleaded with the lady, choosing not to accompany his wife but instead meeting the mysterious woman’s mother.
Despite facing revenge from some of the women involved, including claims of pregnancy and long-term relationships, Onajobi remained steadfast in her commitment to her marriage. She recognized that she was on a unique assignment in her husband’s life and took the time to understand his struggles.
