According to the statement, prior surveillance of the area had indicated the presence of terrorists amassing at the location, which had been cleared of terrorist activities about six months prior.

The intelligence further indicated that these terrorists had relocated from areas around Lake Chad following intense airstrikes by NAF aircraft.

The successful airstrike significantly weakened the terrorists’ capacity to launch attacks on both friendly forces and innocent civilians.

Additionally, in the Niger Delta region, the airstrikes were aimed at curtailing the illicit activities of oil thieves, which have been negatively impacting the region’s environment and the nation’s oil output.
