The statement further clarified that the recent visit of former Governors Atiku Bagudu of Kebbi State and Abubakar Badaru of Jigawa State to the office of the SGF was centered around their recent ministerial appointments, not related to any alleged ad-hoc committee.

The SGF, Sen. George Akume, urged the media to ensure accurate reporting by verifying information directly from authorized sources within his office rather than relying on potentially inaccurate social media reports.
