“The Nigerian Army always seizes the opportunity presented by the period leading up to July 6 to celebrate and acknowledge the blessings of Almighty God,” he remarked. July 6 symbolically marks the commencement of the Nigerian Civil War, signifying the Army’s commitment to national unity.
The Nigerian Army Day Celebration aims to underscore the Army’s role in fostering national unity, integration, and development, while showcasing its achievements, capabilities, and enduring reputation. President Bola Ahmed Tinubu will grace the Grand Finale as the Special Guest of Honour.
Activities culminate in a Gala Night at Gowon Hall, Crispan Hotel in Jos, Plateau State, complemented by broadcasts of goodwill messages from troops stationed across the country’s operational theatres on various television and radio stations throughout the celebration period.
