Nigerian Student Pays Okada Rider ₦1,000 To Pretend To Be His Father After Skipping Classes
A Nigerian teacher has shared a hilarious experience involving a Junior Secondary School 2 (JSS 2) student who allegedly paid an okada rider ₦1,000 to impersonate his father after he was caught skipping classes.
According to Bush Radio Academy, the teacher, identified as @AdageorgeA on X, recounted how she instructed the student to bring his father to school the following day before he would be allowed to return to her class.
The teacher said the boy accepted the instruction without hesitation and arrived at school the next morning with a man dressed in an oversized suit, whom he introduced as his father.
According to her account, the man played the role convincingly, apologising for the student’s alleged misconduct and promising to discipline him at home.
However, the situation took an unexpected turn when the teacher took a closer look at the man and recognised him as the same motorcycle rider who usually transported her to school every morning.
The teacher explained that the student had allegedly paid the rider ₦1,000 to wear a suit and pretend to be his father.
She added that the rider eventually recognised her and reportedly shouted, “Aunty Teacher!” before fleeing the scene.
The unusual incident has sparked amusement on social media, with the student’s bold plan and the motorcycle rider’s unexpected involvement drawing attention.
While the story has entertained social media users, the account remains based on the teacher’s own narration online.
