Her posts, which outlined her preferences, sparked mixed reactions, particularly from men, many of whom resorted to sl*t-shaming and hurling insults at her.

In a Facebook post on Monday, the medicinal herb seller responded, “Instead of praying and working on breaking the poverty that has plagued you and your family for years, you’re wasting your time and energy hating on me? You’re only wasting your time.”

She further stated, “If you’re not going to back up your sweet talk with money, don’t bother wasting my time. I’m not interested in love without financial stability. It’s very simple.”

Mmesoma made it clear, “Go cry to your mother. I will never be with a broke man, Chineke Aju!”

She concluded by saying, “After all the effort I’ve put in to ensure I’m not broke or poor, you expect me to settle for a poor man? Chineke ekwele ihe ijo (God forbid such a thing).”
