Nigerians Lack Compassion – Sonia Ighalo Reacts To Jubilations Over Buhari’s De@th

Sonia Ighalo has criticized Nigerians who are celebrating the reported de@th of former President Muhammadu Buhari.

The model and ex-wife of footballer Jude Ighalo expressed her disapproval via Instagram Stories, where she mourned the late former leader and urged people to show empathy, even in death.

She wrote:
“Nigerians appear to be lacking in compassion. This was someone’s father, husband, uncle, and son.
Why must some of you always showcase such uncivil behavior in times of tragedy?”

She acknowledged that while critiques of Buhari’s leadership may be justified, mocking his de@th undermines our shared humanity.

“De@th is the inevitable end we all must face, and that truth should inspire empathy, not mockery. Shalom,” she added.
