Nigerians React As FG Launches N70 Billion Road Project Linking Nigeria To Cameroon Via Taraba Video

The 35-kilometer road, which begins in Taraba State, is a strategic infrastructure development designed to boost trade, foster cross-border relations, and enhance economic growth within the West and Central African subregions.

With a budget of N70 billion, the project is being executed under the administration of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu as part of his government’s broader commitment to improving national infrastructure and connectivity with neighboring countries. The road is expected to provide a vital link for businesses, ease the movement of people and goods, and reduce travel time between the two nations.

The initiative is also anticipated to promote socio-economic development in local communities along the route, especially in Taraba State.
