In unrelated news, the Adamawa State Police Command has arrested and detained a Nigerian lady, Blessing Ben, and her boyfriend, Luka Iliyasu, for their alleged involvement in killing their infant and discarding the body in a dustbin on July 8 in Yola.
The couple had been in a relationship for two years before Blessing became pregnant.
According to SP Suleiman Yahaya-Nguroje, the spokesperson for the Police Command, Blessing denied murdering the baby, claiming that the child was born prematurely.
The investigation into the incident is ongoing, and once concluded, the suspects will face charges in court.
