The meeting occurred on the sidelines of a scholarship award ceremony held last weekend. The event was organized by the office of the First Lady as part of her charitable initiative, the Renewed Hope Initiative.
During the ceremony, Hon. Shittu represented Ambassador Olufolake AbdulRazaq, the wife of the Kwara State governor.
One of the scholarship recipients, Ayodele Khadijat Damilola from the University of Ilorin, caught the attention of the Ajike People’s Support Centre, which is the pet project of Mrs. AbdulRazaq in Kwara State.
Expressing her satisfaction at meeting the young legislator in person, Senator Oluremi Tinubu commended Hon. Rukayat Shittu’s dedication and advised her to remain focused and diligent in her legislative duties.
The First Lady emphasized the importance of staying on track throughout her legislative journey.
