General Musa stated that the calls for a government change are clearly orchestrated by sponsors, who are currently being tracked and will be apprehended. He also revealed that several sponsors of protesters displaying foreign flags have been arrested and their bank accounts frozen.

The press briefing was attended by top security officials, including Chief of Army Staff Lt.-Gen. Taoreed Lagbaja, Chief of Naval Staff Vice Admiral Emmanuel Ogalla, Chief of Air Staff Air Marshal Hassan Abubakar, Inspector-General of Police Kayode Egbetokun, and other key figures from the Department of State Services (DSS), Nigeria Customs Service, Nigeria Immigration Service, Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC), and Nigeria Correctional Service (NCoS).
