Njoku emerged as the legitimate Chairman of the party following a Supreme Court verdict in his favor. This ruling also led the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) to recognize him as the authentic Chairman of the party after a prolonged power tussle within the party.

Speaking to newsmen on Friday in Abuja, Njoku emphasized that there is no face-off between him and Soludo. He explained that the party is now in a reconciliatory mood.

“We have been moving around for reconciliation. You know when you’re doing reconciliation, you just have to be humble,” Njoku said. “I’m sure everybody here is aware of our struggle and that the crisis in APGA is now over.

“I’m begging the press, let us not overheat the polity in APGA. All we’re looking for now is peace. There’s no crisis in APGA. We have only one Governor, which is the Governor of Anambra State, and there’s no quarrel between myself and him.

“We have suffered this crisis for a long time, and now it has finally come to an end. Thank God INEC has finally recognized me, and the Supreme Court has given its judgment in my favor. So, there’s no more crisis. It is all over.”
