Kanu has been on trial since his rearrest and repatriation to Nigeria from Kenya in 2021. He faces terrorism-related charges brought against him by the Nigerian government.

A notice from Kanu’s lead counsel, Aloy Ejimakor, states: “PUBLIC NOTICE: As previously scheduled, the hearing of MAZI NNAMDI KANU’s case will take place TODAY (September 24) at 10 AM instead of the previously set time of 12 noon. The venue remains the same: Federal High Court, Abuja. As always, #MNK will be in attendance. This hearing is crucial.”
