NOA Announces Upcoming Release Of Standard National Anthem

Issa-Onilu’s statement came in response to the circulation of multiple versions of the anthem on social media platforms. “Our citizens, whom we have encouraged to learn the new national anthem, have expressed eagerness to promote it. However, they are encountering confusion regarding the authenticity of the versions found online and have raised inquiries about which stanzas constitute the national prayer,” Issa-Onilu remarked.

He assured Nigerians that a decision regarding the selection of stanzas to be designated as the national prayer would be made following the requisite approval processes. Issa-Onilu also advised government agencies intending to play the anthem at their events to obtain the official copy from the Agency
