The revelation shocked many, as the couple only tied the knot in April this year.

In a now-trending video, Okoro claimed her husband is not the man she believed him to be, adding that she can no longer continue with the marriage.

“I am living in fear. If I don’t speak out, I don’t know if I’ll be alive tomorrow. Chibuzor Erikife has threatened to end my life if I leave him. The marriage is over — his bride price was never paid, and my family recently reminded them to pay it. This union is not working, and I have tried everything possible to save it,” she said.

The actress alleged that her husband married her under the assumption that she had money to lavish on him. She revealed that she was in the process of building a house when he entered her life, but his attitude changed when she refused to finance him.

“He thought I had money to spend. Since I refused to transfer funds to him from my business trip to Lagos, it’s been hatred and neglect. He won’t even touch me as his wife, and when I complained to his family, they told me to pray more. This is not a prayer issue — my life is in danger,” she added.

Okoro further alleged that there are rumours her husband plans to abduct and kill her. She appealed to the public for help, stating that a petition has already been filed with the police.
