In an interview with SeunOluketuyi TV, Solade credited the success of their marriage to his wife’s unwavering support and tolerance. He emphasized the importance of their deep friendship, saying, “I attribute our success to my wife. She manages me exceptionally well and is incredibly tolerant, making sacrifices that few can match. She is truly God-sent.”

Solade acknowledged that his wife understands his circumstances, whether he is thriving or facing challenges. “She is not ostentatious, and her prayers for me mean everything,” he added. He also noted, “Marriage is more like friendship because it is a life contract.”

In a separate discussion, Yemi Solade expressed his concerns regarding the recent invalidation of degrees obtained from universities in Benin Republic and Togo. This comes in light of the Minister of Education, Tahir Mamman, revealing that 22,789 Nigerians had been found with fake degree certificates acquired from these countries between 2019 and 2023.
