According to the statement, the Commandant General, Prof. Ahmed Abubakar Audi, delivered the directive during a keynote address at a three-day Leadership and Management Workshop on VIP protection held in the nation’s capital.

The workshop brought together State Commandants, VIP unit commanders, and armourers from across the country.

Prof. Audi emphasized that VIP protection is a highly sensitive national responsibility assigned to the Corps by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and must be carried out with absolute seriousness.

He warned officers against misconduct, stressing that indiscipline would not be tolerated, and noted that anyone undermining the effectiveness of VIP protection would face strict disciplinary action.
