Oba Ewuare II offered this counsel during a courtesy visit to his palace by the Benin Branch Controller of CBN, Mr. Michael Mgbeze, and his management team in Edo State.

Expressing concern over revelations of mismanagement and missing funds during the past leadership of the Bank, Oba Ewuare II urged the new CBN Governor to formulate monetary policies that would contribute to economic prosperity for Nigerians.

The traditional ruler also invoked prayers for stability in the apex bank’s monetary policies and reforms within the banking sector.

He stated, “The reports we have been hearing about CBN have been disheartening, particularly regarding money loss, investigations, and related issues.
