Naija News reports that former President Olusegun Obasanjo has suggested that many current public officials in Nigeria deserve imprisonment, criticizing their leadership capabilities and implying they would be better suited for incarceration.

In response, Obono-Obla stated, “Many individuals from Obasanjo’s eight-year presidency should also face imprisonment. However, as a lawyer, I cannot endorse such speculative claims, no matter how appealing they may seem.”
