Odumeje Calls Out Religious Giants, Questions Why They Didn’t Speak Up Like In Jonathan’s Time Video
Anambra-based clergyman, Prophet Odumeje, has publicly criticized senior pastors, Pastor Adeboye and Pastor Oyedepo, for remaining silent on the nation’s worsening condition.....KINDLY READ THE FULL STORY HERE▶
In a viral video, Odumeje lamented the high levels of poverty and hunger in Nigeria, urging prominent Christian leaders to speak out. He recalled how many senior pastors were vocal against government policies during former President Goodluck Jonathan’s administration but have remained quiet under the current government.
He stated:
“The worst government now is Nigeria. Look at Ghana—they’re insulting Nigerians, and their currency is now stronger than ours. We used to mock Ghana’s money, but today it’s comparable to the dollar. Look at Adeboye during Jonathan’s era complaining about high fuel prices—now nobody says anything. Prices keep rising every day, and everyone seems indifferent. Bad governance has become the norm.”
He added, “These are people who are supposed to speak against bad government. Adeboye and Oyedepo should lead the charge.”
Odumeje also urged Nigerian youths to rise up and reclaim their country from what he described as “businessmen posing as politicians.”
