Nigerian rapper Odumodublvck has sparked reactions online after making a strong statement about the extent to which men should be willing to go to protect and sacrifice for their partners.

The rapper shared his views while speaking during a recent interview on the In Motion Podcast, where he discussed relationships, marriage and his Christian faith.

According to Bush Radio Academy, Odumodublvck, who was seen wearing a cross necklace during the conversation, based his opinion on the biblical teaching that men should love their wives in the same way Christ loved the church.

He argued that a man who claims he would not be willing to die for his woman is foolish, drawing a comparison between marital love and Christ’s sacrifice for the church.

“Any man wey talk say him nor fit die for him woman na big fool. I’m a Christian. Christ said we should love our wife like Christ love the church, and what did Christ do for the church? Died for the church,” the rapper said.
